How can I reach the lost when my own are lost?

I often sometimes think to myself, when I hear people in church say we need to be witnesses by our actions, OK let me muster all the holiness I can in my eyes, so people might ask me what is the reason why I believe. (I'm not saying our life shouldn't be a witness its just not the full means)

We can even just tell people that we are Christians, but so is the rest of the world as far as they are concerned, lets not be too confrontational now, we don't want to scare people off or turn them off of Christianity.........well I have news they've never been turned on in the first place!

An unbelieving world is accepting of the cold hard truth more than those who say they belong to God, as the commandments of God are pulled out and used, an unbelieving sinner becomes convinced that the sense of moral justice had to come from somewhere, and as the commandments are used to show them that they must give an answer to God and that they would be found guilty by their own admissions, they also realize that hell makes sense.................

But the cross.......the wonderful cross makes more sense than ever before This is what God has done to save us from His own justice, as He is a Holy God he cannot look upon the sinner.................all of a sudden talking to lost people going to hell removes the fact that my life does not qualify me by my own standards. As the title of this entry is "How can I reach the lost when my own are lost?" I realize that it is only God that draws a man to Himself.

Oh would you reach my children? they are lost and I grieve for them daily, they have heard the truth from me...... would you water them? I am waiting on the increase which comes from God.

God, would you please do the work in their lives, I believe you will, but even if they don't follow, I will still follow you.
